Job brief

The Brunei Darussalam Food Authority (BDFA) looking for a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage clerical and organizational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations in the Administrative Section.

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent
  • Prior experience in administrative or clerical roles is preferred
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a valid Class 3 Brunei Driving License
  • Familiarity with office equipment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and packages.
  • Assist with office inventory and supplies.
  • Assist with general administrative duties to support the team.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Facilitate smooth workflow through effective communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Support other departments with various administrative tasks as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
