Requirements and skills
- Minimum qualification of National Diploma in any relevant field.
- Can work independently and as a team.
- Excellent analytical skills and have an investigative mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Conduct compliance monitoring, food sampling and enforcement activities in accordance with food legislations.
- Produce and maintain detailed records of inspections and enforcement activities.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports and statistics.
- Assist the development of guidelines, standard operation protocols and relevant food safety policies.
- Assist in providing food safety and hygiene consultation to food business operators and support stakeholder/ public engagement activities on food safety and hygiene matters.
- Involved in other related tasks as directed by Head of Department as and when necessary.
