Job brief
The Brunei Darussalam Food Authority (BDFA) is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Integrity Associate to support the implementation of BDFA’s internal policies and governance practice by monitoring policy compliance and coordinating audit activities across the organisation. This role will contribute to building a culture of integrity, accountability and procedural compliance.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Law, Business, Accounting, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance, internal audit, legal or governance related role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Monitor organisational adherence to internal policies, SOPs, and delegations of authority.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure procedural compliance in areas such as procurement, financial approvals, HR practices, and document control.
- Serve as the focal point for coordinating with external financial auditors.
- Assist departments in preparing required documentation and responses to audit queries.
- Prepare summary reports on compliance status, audit progress, and policy breaches.
- Support the Senior Legal Advisor in promoting organizational awareness on integrity and compliance matters.
- Maintain organized records of compliance assessments, policy documents and audit-related correspondence.
