BRUNEI DARUSSALAM FOOD AUTHORITY RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM SINGAPORE FOOD AGENCY
The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Brunei Darussalam Food Authority (BDFA), Hajah Siti Raihani binti Haji Abdul Hamid received a courtesy call from the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Operations) of Singapore Food Agency (SFA), Dr Abdul Jalil Abdul Kader on the 31st of January 2024.
Dr Abdul Jalil Abdul Kader was accompanied by Ms Low Yi Lin, Assistant Director, Risk Management & Surveillance Department and Mr Chin Xuan Po, Manager, Ops Policy & Development, SFA. Also in attendance were Siti Khadizah Haji Abdul Latiff, Acting Chief Operating Officer and officers from the BDFA.
During the meeting, both sides expressed appreciation on the current support and collaboration between BDFA and SFA to further strengthen bilateral relationships between the two countries through knowledge sharing as well as capacity building.
Both BDFA and SFA share the commitment of ensuring high quality, clean and safe food. Dr Abdul Jalil Abdul Kader expressed that the purpose of SFA’s visit was to have a deeper understanding of the current food safety regime in Brunei Darussalam, and to further explore the possibilities of expanding the collaborations between the two countries.
