Repatriation and Compassionate benefits shall be provided in accordance with the insurance provider’s terms, conditions, and applicable policy limits.

Coverage Territorial
Coverage shall apply within Brunei Darussalam, subject to the insurance provider’s terms, conditions, and applicable policy limits.

In the event that an employee resigns during the insured year, the remaining insurance premium shall be handled as follows (Subject to the insurance provider’s policy terms and conditions):

  • Calculated on a Prorated Basis
  • Refunded
  • Transferred / Substituted to Cover a Newly Hired Employee

102 employees

Additional Employees Coverage

  • The insurance policy shall provide coverage for up to 102 employees, with the option to extend coverage to an
    additional 38 employees, bringing the maximum coverage to 140 employees.
  • Any additional employees included under the extended coverage shall be charged at the same fixed premium rate, which shall remain unchanged throughout the 2 years (24 months) insured period. Such employees shall be covered for the remaining duration of the insured period, subject to the insurance provider’s terms and conditions.

Coverage Period
2 years (24 months), commencing from 1 December 2026 until 30 November 2028.

Important: All quotations and required submission documents shall be submitted strictly in accordance with the Quotation Submission Requirements and shall be sent to the Procurement Division through the designated submission email address. The Project Owner / Focal Point shall not be responsible for receiving quotation submissions

Interested vendors are required to comply with all the submission requirements stated below. Failure to meet any of the requirements may result in the quotation being deemed non-compliant and subject to disqualification.

  1. Method of Submission

    • Interested vendors shall submit a digital copy of the quotation together with all required documents and information via email to
      vendor.submission@bdfa.gov.bn
      .
    • The email subject shall be clearly stated as:
      BDFA/Q/0020/2026 – BDFA Employee Workmen Compensation
    • The submission must be received no later than 5:00 PM (local time) by Friday, 16 October 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
  2. Quotation

    Vendors shall submit a formal quotation that includes the following details:

    1. Company name and registered address
    2. Quotation reference number and date
    3. Contact person’s name
    4. Contact number
    5. Contact email address
    6. Price validity period

    The quotation shall be addressed to:

  3. Specifications and Compliance Sheet

    Vendors shall submit a completed Annex A: Specifications and Compliance Sheet together with relevant specification sheets and/or product brochures for the makes and models quoted.

  4. Ownership Information

    Vendors shall submit the names of owners, partners, or shareholders, together with a copy of their identity card(s).
  5. Business Registration

    Vendors shall submit a copy of a valid Business Registration Certificate.
  6. Declaration of Relationship (If Applicable)

    Vendors shall declare whether there are any personnel within their company who have a direct relationship with any employee of BDFA.
